Congratulations to Robert P. Szaro of Massachusetts who won the 2016 AWSEF Fruit Wine Award for his 2016 raspberry wine.

This fruit wine award recognizes the winner of the American Wine Society (AWS) Amateur Wine Competition's Best Fruit Wine and our own Les Sperling, who during his distinguished AWS/AWSEF membership won countless Best of Show Amateur Fruit Wine awards and was a charter member of the AWSEF.  This award is unique to the AWSEF and is designed to highlight the Foundation’s citizenship in the greater AWS community.

Mr. Szaro's sweet raspberry fruit wine included the Taylor, Killarney, and Nova raspberry varieties.
